Fiddle Lessons for Kids
I love playing the fiddle and I love teaching it to kids! Through Celtic, oldtime, swing, and Cajun tunes, I teach good technique, intonation, tone, rhythm and bowing while learning lively and timeless dance tunes. I teach with music/by ear. I teach scales and double stops, soloing and playing back up.
I set my students up with reasonable, goal-oriented practice schedules. I expect results. And I expect your child to have fun.
I encourage my fiddle students to play with others and so I give them the skills to do so successfully.
